The Raleigh-based Luxury Home Marketing Group took time to look ahead to 2015 at their recent networking meeting. The group reviewed a report on economic growth, and its projected impact on home ownership, presented by exclusive marketing partner Towne Mortgage of the Carolinas (NMLS #214800).
“One of the industry’s big mortgage holders is advising REALTORS® that a strong economy in the coming year will translate into greater demand in homeownership, including in the Estate Home marketplace,” said LHMG President Linda Craft. “‘Freddie Mac’ indicates that economic recovery, coupled with easing of credit and lower energy costs are all factors in the coming year’s bright picture.”
Towne Mortgage’s Denise Beatty also presented details on how the department of Housing and Urban Development is also projecting growth in 2015. Despite potentially higher interest rates, Beatty says the recovery of a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) fund (the Mutual Mortgage Insurance Fund) is contributing to easier access to home loans.
